Featured snippet

A featured snippet is a selected snippet of an article that best matches the keywords in the search query.

This term therefore falls within the realm of SEO. It is displayed in the first position (or zero position) of search results, typically when queries such as how, why, what, who, where are entered. The articles in the featured snippet are selected by Google's algorithm, which analyses the posts in relation to the relevance of the content, the quality of processing and the authority or expertise of the site. The featured snippet occupies the top position in search results and is highlighted by an image with larger text. As a result, posts placed here typically have more traffic.
