Web application

A web application is similar to a traditional computer (desktop) program.

It is software that, like the web, is mediated by a web browser. Thanks to this, you can use applications on almost any device connected to the Internet. Unlike the web, however, web applications have more advanced functionality - typically a tool such as a chat application.
