A typical digital product created through a programming language consists of two parts - a backend and a frontend.

The frontend deals with how the website or application will look like. For example, the layout of elements, their shape or colors. The backend focuses on what's inside. This means mainly the functionality of the product, the principles of creating and processing data or connecting to APIs and information systems.
