CTA

CTA (Call To Action) refers to elements on a page that aim to engage the visitor and motivate them to take an action (e.g. confirm an order).

For this reason, all CTAs should be distinctive to catch the user's eye. At the same time, they should not be too intrusive or annoying so as not to disrupt the user experience. The most common CTAs today undoubtedly include buttons (e.g. to add items to a basket), banners, contact forms and pop-ups that may, for example, prompt you to download an e-book.
