NFT

NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) serve as a means of proving ownership of a digital or physical item.

This ownership information is recorded in the NFT metadata. The metadata is stored in a blockchain (decentralized database) that prevents it from being tampered with.

Each NFT token is unique, which makes it impossible to confuse it with another and can refer to almost any digital content (images, videos, articles, tweets, ...).

NFTs find their use in the sale of digital content without an intermediary (e.g. selling photos, graphics, music), in the transfer of collectibles in the game (e.g. a skin you buy in the game can be used in another game, or resold).

However, it is important to note that the copyright of the item being sold still remains in the hands of the creator. The owner of the NFT is "only" the demonstrable owner of the product. It is therefore a kind of alternative to art collectors - only one person (the NFC owner) owns the original, but virtually anyone can acquire a copy.
