About the project

The information system (ECM) for the Swietelsky company covers all agendas around machine registration and maintenance. It facilitates reporting of defects via the mobile application and speeds up their resolution thanks to warehouse management.

Task

The client approached us with a request to create an internal system that will facilitate and accelerate the processes surrounding equipment maintenance.

The idea of the project excited us not only because of its practicality, but also because of its interesting concept. The information system consists of two digital products – a mobile and a web application, both applications are interconnected and send data to each other, but each of them offers different modules in connection with the assigned roles.

Details of the solution

We were faced with the challenge of programming an information system (ECM) whose design would fit into the existing portfolio Swietelsky and will supplement it with a practical tool for machinists, warehouse workers or workshop foremen.

The information system consists of two parts – web and mobile applications. In both of them you will be greeted by a login page. After filling in the login details, an interface with tools will be displayed according to the user role of the logged in user: machinist, worker, foreman or warehouse worker.

The mobile application is intended for reporting defects and monitoring the status of their repairs. It contains a form in which workers specify the defect and supplement it with illustrative photos. They then record the time spent on the machine inspection and the solution to the repair using a utility integrated in the system.

The notification center, which is part of the web application, notifies you of reports and inspections. It allows you to perform all the following steps, from warehouse management (overview of stored components, etc.), through employee management to invoice generation and management.
