Augmented Reality (AR) is a modern technology that augments real-world images with computer-generated text, images or video.

It is a kind of digital superstructure of the real world, where you can see in real time not only the elements in your field of view, but also virtual objects that you can further manipulate.

You can see AR in various games (for example, Pokémon GO) or interactive applications (for example, from Ikea, which shows you what the furniture in your room will look like), which are effective marketing tools.
